She smiled, a pleasant shudder moving through her at his touch and she set a tender look on him.
"Perhaps they will be. But I can't have you overworking yourself. Plus I'm sure there's plenty of theoretical lessons we could go over, before any more practical. I'm still working on memorizing the instructions anyway."
She gave him a lazy grin, reaching out and taking the hand not currently making patterns on her leg into her own.
Before her heart would be trying to leave her, now, everything was a comfort to her. Comfortable. Loving.
She really was enjoying this. She took the hand she held, and made a bold move, lifting it up and pressing her lips to his palm, her eyes locking with his as she did so, smiling against his skin.
Tonks giggled. "I can agree to that. I trust Rose to know what she's doing. But I'm also not going to lie and say I'm not just a tad concerned. But, I'm not one to judge other people."
She glanced over at Snape and Rose again. She had to admit, they looked happy. Rose was practically sparkling, sitting there. If a person could do that. They were completely into each other, not a care about the world around them. It was actually kinda... sweet in a way.
Then again, she was a Hufflepuff, kind and accepting of all and any. So the situation, while albeit a tad bit... out of the blue, it didn't really bother her much.
She would keep an eye on her with Remus though. That was her best friend, and she was as fiercely protective of her as Remus was.
Precedent destroyed indeed. "It was a good way to destroy it, I would say."
She said this with a light giggle, squeezing his hand. "Best outcome of the use of my skills to date, to be honest. Normally I'm just changing into Professors and scaring bullies."

i will break the spell you put on me | everywhere i go, i am spellbound; you cannot have this control on me | 349 words commentary | Unlike Remus, Severus was paying absolutely no attention to the other couple in the room. He was completely lost in Rose. He looked at her with such reverence, such love, such respect. It wasn’t a look he wore for anyone but her. Though, Remus didn’t see that – he saw someone who was looking at her lustfully, but that was also because he was a blind fool who wanted to see the bad in Severus Snape.
“That’s very true. Most of the lessons so far… haven’t been too hands on.” He grins, shivers sent through his spine when she kissed his palm. His heart felt like someone was trying to tug it down, his chest collapsing as he stared at her with just… utter happiness. “While you do have a good amount of time before your test, you do still need to make sure you pass it.”
To be completely fair, he normally had planned to have her start brewing in the spring, but with all of the distractions, it just depended on how well she was doing by that point with the theory and measuring and basics.
---
“How long has… that been happening? Did she show any interest before this year or…?” Remus was more looking for answers as to why he came to school and it felt like there had been this whole secret life of crushing on Snape she had been leading (okay, yes he hadn’t been writing as often as he wished he did, but even then).
“Oh? I’ve heard a lot about your life here at Hogwarts – from Rose, other professors and a certain cousin of yours…” He chuckled lightly, “Out of curiosity, have you turned into me yet? I promise I won’t give you detention if you say yes.” To be fair, if one of the Marauders had been like her, they would’ve gotten into so much more trouble. He found it fascinating – though he didn’t really mind if she chose to look differently – she was already so beautiful.
“Though, uh, I would… prefer if you don’t tell others about… that broken precedent…”

She grinned at him, feeling coy, "I'm sure the more hands on it gets the more interesting lessons will be, hm?"
There she went, making those sorts of suggestions again. Shame, Rose, shame.
She intertwined her fingers with his, resting her cheek against their joined hands, closing her eyes and relaxing. "Of course I'll pass it Sev. You know I will. We may be a tad off track right now, with good reason of course."
She gave him a wink.
"But I do take this, and learning the potion seriously. This was a very pleasant bonus if I do say so myself."
Her eyes opening to lock eyes with him again and feeling adventurous, maybe a tad daring, she brushed her lips along his thumb and then ghosting soft kisses along his knuckles.
She smirked and as she spoke, her lips brushing against his thumb. "Though, if all goes well, the uh, current final exam date can be pushed a bit, ne? Not on such a terribly tight schedule?"
She hoped he understood what she was insinuating with that.
The lazy grin was back. Ah, how she wanted to kiss him right now. But, while she was being particularly bold to show that Severus was doing absolutely nothing to her to invoke these actions. She knew that that much affection was left to private quarters.
Tonks looked at him, a sad smile on her face. "No, it's not recent. Though, I kind of call it out of the blue, mostly on Snape being so... open to it. I was for sure he would have turned her down. Being who she was related to.
She's explained to me a lot of the stories, to help me understand. Why she was doing what she was doing and how it all sort of started.
Of course, her first explanation as to why she was in Snape's office, at what seemed precalculated times of the month was very short."
She smiled at him, eyes sparkling. "'Sick', she told me. 'Uncurable.' And that she needed a special potion. I kind of let it go at that point, as she tended to be happy and healthy, so she didn't seem to be in any trouble.
It wasn't until I took divination did the real reason present itself to me. Moons, and all that, you know.
I think she knows, that I know, but we haven't really spoken about it. It just didn't seem necessary."
Tonks gave a shrug.
"Her condition never affected our friendship, or how much I love and care for her as my friend. But I digress, off topic.
Anyway, so, right, moons. So I figured out that she would be going and hanging out in his office, and at first, it started out as short visits. She would go, pick up her potion and come back. And then it seemed like an even more predetermined meeting. She would get dressed up, leave hours before she used to.
And when she came back, she would have this stupid grin on her face. I don't think she even knew what was happening. And I'm honestly surprised it didn't become clear to her now.
Point is, this has been a thing for a while. Obviously, when we were younger it didn't have as significant of a definition. But the two obviously cared about each other. She excells in Potions. She's like the aptest Gryffindor in that class."
Tonks snickers, shaking her head.
"She outshines all of his Slytherins. And I think it's the most amusing thing ever since she carries the Lupin surname.
She also has a sharp tongue as well. She will stand up to him if she sees him treating a student unfairly. The first time it happened, we all looked at her in shock. Including Snape. We all waited for him to deduct hundreds of points and give her detention for a month... but they locked into some sort of glaring contest and then... he just kept on lecturing.
As a mischief maker, I enjoy a good sense of humour, and fate, when it comes to the two of them, has the best. I kept an eye on her best that I could, thinking that somewhere, he would do something or say something; but nope. It was the same thing, every month. She'd go and she'd come back, smiling."
A slight blush covered her cheeks, "although, I was a bit jealous. Again, I knew her secret. And to me, she just seemed to want to connect to someone who knew all of what she was. Someone she didn't have to hide from. But the Hufflepuff part of me got the better of me. I was content with making sure she was happy. It's all that matters, right?"
She grins and nods, "Oh! Speaking of Sirius. I played a very good prank on McGonagall one April Fools by changing into him. She yelled at me for an hour straight. Rose thought it was brilliant. She's a terrible instigator, you know?"
She gives him a coy smile, "no. I haven't. One of you is enough.
At least that's what McGonagall says about you and your band of friends."
She giggled.
"I solemnly swear," she said with a grin. "Learned that from Rose too."
A wink.

i will break the spell you put on me | everywhere i go, i am spellbound; you cannot have this control on me | 541 words commentary | Severus gave her a small grin, doing his very best to not to let his mind wander too far. Especially when they were in public – a private sort of public, but still public. Someone could walk in at any time – or Madam Pomfrey would catch them being so… close.
He could feel shivers running down his spine as she ghosted soft kisses along his knuckles, wishing they were alone so he could show her affection in return – perhaps it was one of the biggest flaws with being with him. He was a loving person, but he didn’t show it very often, and almost always in private. Of course, his hand continued to trace small patterns on her leg, but that was about the extent of what he was doing with her.
“I know you will. I also know you take this very seriously. I won’t lower my expectations, but I’m sure you’ll be able to reach them.” He gives her a quick wink and chuckles lightly, “If… needed we could push off the final exam date, yes.”
---
She knew. He had figured she knew but this was just – this was exactly what he thought might happen, but it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing – Rose had someone like he had back in school, and while he had three, she could have at least one – okay because of Snape two though he rather not admit that second one.
But did that mean he knew about him as well? It did mean she was more accepting given how she hadn’t run away from Rose and all of that, but he was worse of a person than she was – so maybe she was willing to stand by Rose, but perhaps not him. And that thought just broke his heart.
“He didn’t deduct points for that? Wow, it must be love,” He wanted to vomit just saying that in reference to Severus and his sister, even if it was slightly sarcastic. “… Though it… is comforting to know this wasn’t completely out of the blue – even if… I’m still not happy about it.” He raised his voice for that last part so the two could hear.
“Oh my god. I wish I could’ve seen her reaction. That would have been hilarious to see – I mean even now they’re having so much fun with each other, but him showing up randomly has got to take the cake when it comes to ol’ Minni – McGongagall’s reaction.”
Though Remus was smiling at her answer to his question, he was just a tad worried he had upset her – only because he was a blind fool who always saw the negative in everything. “Well that’s what she says.” He gives her a wink. “Just think, two of me. There’s all sorts of fun one could have.” He actually takes her hand and kisses the back of her palm, a slight waggle to his eyebrows.
“I appreciate it.” Solemnly swear huh? He wondered if she ever had seen their map – even though she said Rose told her about it, after that she might have found it and discovered the uses of it… though that was mostly hopeful thinking. That map brought back a lot of memories, it was great for nostalgia.

"Of course I will," she said with a grin. She gave him a thoughtful look. "While the fact of not being on a particularly tight schedule with this, I would rather spend time outside these halls on more interesting ventures. Wouldn't you agree?"
She gave him a grin and kissed his hand again, lowering them to her lap.
Tonks rolled her eyes, "no, I think this it was that, at that time. But it was a change. Just an ever so slight change. But it did put Rose in the limelight for a while. 'Stood up to Snape and lived'! We jokingly called her 'Girl Who Lived' for a while, before the novelty of it died down. Luckily it only lasted for a year. She seemed uncomfortable with all the attention."
Tonks laughed softly, "I mean. Who could blame her?
Her eyes slid briefly to her best friend and the potions master and sighed then back to Remus, smiling softly. "I would say though, she talks about you the most. Once I found out about her, it made sense to me why she was so concerned about werewolf rights, and such.
She had a cause, herself... and you."
At this, she softly gripped his hand.
Tonks gave a lopsided grin. "McGonagall's reaction was the best. She told me to stick to teachers. After giving me a month's worth of Detentions, of course."
She blushed at the waggling of his eyebrows. "Two of you would be insane. We already have the whole gang of you and your friends here; let's just add in a second you. Put McGonagall into retirement early."
Tonks giggled, smiling softly.

i will break the spell you put on me | everywhere i go, i am spellbound; you cannot have this control on me | 211 words commentary | “Mmmm… well, what do you have in mind? Unlike some people I don’t venture out of my dungeons very often,” He grinned, lifting their connected hand and kissing the back of her hand in return and then lowering them back to her lap again. “Some fresh air might be in order.”
---
“I wouldn’t blame her either. Attention, especially for something like that, is… hard to deal with. People tend to have expectations of you after that of always succeeding, and when you don’t do something you’re expected, people think badly of you and think something is wrong.” Remus shrugged thinking about how sometimes the Marauders, especially him, was held to certain standards – he had to be the good boy, after all.
His eyes widened for a moment and he looked around as if someone would overhear that didn’t already know. Even still – somehow, she knew and didn’t care about him being what he was. To be fair, it made him feel completely overjoyed – but at the same he was afraid, more than he had ever been before.
“S-So you know.” He looked anywhere but at her at this moment.
“Well now that Sirius is a teacher, you’ve got permission then,” He gives her a wink, “I’m sure Minnie won’t mind.”

"Well," Rose blushed, she remained silent for a few moments, however, her blush seemingly grew darker, but she spoke confidently. "I meant that because of our current arrangement, that it gives us an opportunity to have this project go beyond the time limit of my final year..."
She was tracing patterns into his hand with a finger, smiling softly. "However, I would much rather use that time to build this relationship further. Especially once we're free of the stations Hogwarts places on us. Well, rather, me, specifically. You'll continue being a teacher here, of course; but, at the point of my graduation, we won't have to be so... ah, discreet."
She chuckled. "Perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself."
Tonks smiled softly and nodded. It had been hard on Rose, very hard. She had wanted to yell at people to leave her alone but felt it would have garnered her even more unwanted attention.
"Of course I know," Tonks said softly, rolling her eyes. "When Rose talks about herself, she always had some sort of reference point. She did try to keep the two subjects separate, but," Tonks shrugged and she squeezed Remus' hand again.
"But it doesn't make a difference to me. Rose is Rose. You are you. The condition is apart of you, sure. But I don't think it should overshadow the person either. You and Rose both are amazing people with an unfortunate affliction. So, yes, I do know. And I'm not afraid. I worry because I know those times are rough and I know you'll be tired. Rose always is, she looks like death normally the day after, even if she's smiling.
I think the two of you deserve happiness."
Tonks' eyes glittered mischievously, "oh, yes. I plan to have a little fun with that, of course. I mean, being a metamorphmagus is just another use of Transfiguration."

[attr="class","manalishilpost"]
He raised an eyebrow and chuckled lightly. “I never once believed that this wouldn’t extend past your time here at Hogwarts. Provided, of course… you still wanted me after that.” His voice was low, hoping that the two nearby people wouldn’t overhear him – after all, it was him expressing a fear in a way, a fear of losing her, and he didn’t want anyone to hear that other than Rose – whom he trusted more than anyone else in this world. [break][break] “I have this… place, I thought… perhaps we could… live together at least for the summer. After that… well with how busy I am here at Hogwarts, I think a place in Hogsmeade might be needed. Unless… well, perhaps I could convince Dumbledore to bring you on at Hogwarts – perhaps not as a professor as you’d be too young, but… maybe helping Madam Pomfrey and learning more about healing from her – an internship of a sort.” [break][break] He had put a lot of thought in the last couple of weeks of what he needed to have done after this year to make sure this could keep going – and that was one of the things he had thought of – given her condition and the war itself, he knew healing magic would be important. Of course, he would need to talk to the proper people – in fact he hadn’t planned to tell her about it until he had it all planned out, but he figured it was good to bring it up now – after all if he did all of that work and she would prefer not to do it, well, he would rather not waste his time. [break][break] --- [break][break] Remus had to keep himself from getting emotional after everything Tonks was saying. ‘Humans won’t ever accept you, kid. If you get a chance to live with them, take it. But don’t let them know what you are, they’ll hunt you down and kill you. I had a wife before I was turned. Two children. I saved my children and was bitten in the process, and you know what happened? She left me and took the kids. My own wife. Even my kids were scared of me. I watch them from time to time. They’ve grown up so much, but I can’t be in their lives because of what I am. Just… kid, this ain’t a life you want to choose. Don’t let anyone know what you are, or you’ll be forced into this, got it?’ [break][break] And yet here she was saying something so different, so wonderfully different, he wasn’t sure if he could believe it. Perhaps she was like Sirius, James and Peter – there would be a few who weren’t like that – a couple who would break the mold. And somehow, he would have found five – Lily and Tonks added to his best friends of course. [break][break] “Th-Thank you. You have no idea what that means to me – for you to say that. I’ve spent so long, Dora, so long alone. So long… afraid of what I am, and to be surrounded by so many people who accept me – it’s – it means a lot to me. I don’t want to be famous or heralded as a hero. I told you before I fought – I still am fighting – for the reason behind the war, not because of… the feeling of fighting. But… its more selfish than that. I want to be loved. I want – I want to not be alone anymore. I want – I want to be accepted." [break][break] "I want to fight for my friends and show them that their faith and kindness bestowed upon me wasn’t wasted. That’s why I fight for the Order, not with the ministry, or any other band, the Order. Because that’s where my friends are. That’s where the people I fight for fight. There’s – There’s not a ton of glory in it, I do so many… things behind the scenes no one will ever hear about, but they do. They hear, and they respect me for the fight I… I put up. That’s what I want. I want to be respected and loved by them and – and fighting in this war with them is the way to show them that I love them.” [break][break] He took a breath finally, his eyes no longer drifting towards his sister and the snake. He felt like he was about to cry. It just – it was a lot taken off his chest finally, something he never really spoke about before because he was afraid if they found out he was fighting for such a selfish purpose they’d hate him.

"Seems we were wondering about the future at the same time," she said with a soft smile, caressing his cheek. "Of course I would want you, I can't see my self without you in my life."
She had more to say to that, but she filed it away for a later conversation.
"Funnily enough, Madam Pomfrey said something similar to me the other day. I think she noticed I'd been worrying about what I was going to do after Hogwarts, since, if nothing changes for my kind, there would be no way for me to follow in Tonks' footsteps."
No, that wasn't a Lupinism, it was cold hard fact. She wouldn't be able to do it, legally. Stepping into the ministry meant too many things would have to happen to her, and she wasn't going to be risked being chained by the ministry in its current state. To her, it seemed like suicide. Sure, she would register, but then any sort of personal connection she had would be under dangerous fire. Sev? Tonks? Ha. Yeah, there was no way she could do that.
And while, yes, she felt bad for it - she would indeed probably continued to seek Sev out for the potion. They had grown a bond, before this, that had her feeling comfortable enough to continue to call on him. She vaguely wondered if the same outcome would've happened anyways.
Probably, maybe.
She chuckled, "my love, whatever it is, where ever it is, as long as I'm with you, it'll be enough."
As Remus spoke, Tonks felt a strong surge of emotion and her hair changed to a softer pink vs the more vibrant.
"I don't think it's selfish at all," she said vehemently. "Rose fights a different way for the same reasons."
Tonk's squeezed his hand again, "you're not alone. You have your friends, you have Rose... you have me."
She gave him a brilliant smile,

i will break the spell you put on me | everywhere i go, i am spellbound; you cannot have this control on me | 566 words commentary | Severus nodded looking to her with a warm look in his normally cold eyes. “You aren’t getting ahead of yourself at all, love. I do agree that it opens up options – the lessons don’t need to be… rushed. However, I do believe in you, and I think you can get what is planned done and we can… look to our future – together… if that’s what you want of course.”
He took the hand that wasn’t tracing patterns with his free hand and gave it a squeeze. “I cannot guarantee I will be more… open about things in general, but I will strive to make you happy.”
---
Remus let out a shaky breath and allowed his head to relax against the pillow, looking up at the ceiling, a tear threatening his eyes. He quickly raised a hand to wipe the tear away and shook his head slightly.
“Dora I –“ He wasn’t sure exactly what to say – it just touched him. It was just words, but the fact she was still here – the fact she still seduced him while she knew what he was – it meant so much to him. It was just like when his friends had become animagus – that first full moon, the day before when they said they were coming with and showed him what they could do for him, he cried. He didn’t go to class, he just cried in their dorm, they even skipped class with him.
However, before he could continue, there was a familiar voice that filled the hospital wing.
“Ah, love.” Remus quickly looked up his eyes wide and saw Albus Dumbledore. At the same time, a certain Severus Snape had immediately let go of Rose’s hand and looked at Dumbledore with that cold look in his eyes as if he weren’t just in a loving embrace with a student. “Love is the most powerful magic in the world, and can lead us to do great and terrible things.” The two professors exchanged a look. Oh no, they were getting their scolding.
“Professor I can explain…” Remus began, but Dumbledore held up a hand as if to say ‘no need’.
“When one finds love, it is not always in the places you expect to find it. While others may look at you with reproach, love is not something you should ignore, Remus.” He nods and then looks to Severus, “However, one should also not let love get in the way of your duties to others and yourself. This is not always easy, and sometimes one needs help. For this reason, Severus, I would like to ask you to refrain from attending the dueling club meetings from now on.”
“As you wish,” Severus gives the headmaster a slight nod, swallowing hard.
“Remus, in return, please refrain from entering the dungeons. I’m sure Ms. Lupin can make the needed deliveries.”
Remus bit his lower lip and glared at Snape for several moments, before he sighed and nodded. “Yes sir.” Dumbledore smiled, taking a few steps towards the pair.
“I am sure you are well aware of the dangers of your current paths. I trust you will… keep secret what must be kept secret.” He looked at the pair over his half-moon glasses set his hands on the end rails of each bed. “Happiness should be sought after, if only you do not let it change you or lead you astray.”

Before she could dare reply, Dumbledore's voice broke her concentration. Severus released her hand and part of her wanted to remove herself from Severus' person, she stayed right where she was at, turning glowing eyes on her headmaster.
Of course, he would know. McGonagall knew. So Dumbledore would know too. They both always knew pretty much everything.
She held back a shudder. While Dumbledore was a great man, he had a creepy quality to him that gave her pause and shivers. She honestly couldn't help the narrowing of her eyes as he spoke.
There was just something about the way he said things that just, put her on edge. She chewed on her bottom lip, looking between her brother and Severus. These two, always at Dumbledore's beck and call without question.
She had lots of questions.
"Good to see you feeling better, Headmaster," she said, breaking the silence.

i will break the spell you put on me | everywhere i go, i am spellbound; you cannot have this control on me | 459 words commentary | Remus had just glanced at Rose when she narrowed her eyes and he looked at her very confused. Why was she doing that to Albus Dumbledore – the man who was leading the Order of the Phoenix, the leader of the movement against Voldemort. The man who gave him a chance at a normal life. The man who gave him a life. Ah well, he was probably not feeling well or something. Though she did bring up a good point… Dumbledore was out and walking around – did he force him to do it while he wasn’t well still?
Dumbledore simply smiled at Rose and gave her a half nod. “Better is relative. Am I going to die? Not yet. Could smack a fly that threatens my face? Possibly. Could I hum a merry tune? Most certainly. However, your brother and… boyfriend would fare much better in a fight than I could in my current condition…”
Remus spoke up immediately. “Don’t say that sir, I’m sure you could take both of us on, even… after what happened.” Dumbledore chuckled and shook his head.
“I’m getting old. Soon it will be your generation leading everything – beyond the war and more. One day I will die.”
“Well, that isn’t today or any time soon, we need you sir,” Remus insisted. Severus was instead just completely stoned faced at the moment.
“Help will always be given to those who deserve it,” Dumbledore smiles and nods at the pair and takes a step back, “I shall leave you to it. You know what you need to do.”
Right. Random object possibly belonging to a founder. At least they knew the sorts of objects the founders had, but no way to find them. Gryffindor had a sword and a cape – Slytherin had a chamber with a beast and a locket – Ravenclaw had a diadem and a staff – and Hufflepuff had a cup and a bowl. One out of those eight was what they were looking for… unless it was like Gryffindor’s rock that he threw once… but where could anything like that be hidden?
Maybe he should talk to Hagrid about… well the reason he was expelled. Perhaps he would know something about one of those in particular – though Remus didn’t think that Hagrid could have ever… well it wasn’t very public, but Remus was one who specialized in finding out about events that weren’t very public, like Gilderoy Lockhart and somehow managing to turn a werewolf back into a human with a spell. From his study… well someone did, but it wasn’t that doofus.
Dumbledore’s eyes twinkled and he looked to Tonks for a moment and then to Rose. “The future depends on what you do today.” He nods sagely and then turns to leave.

Rose's gaze slides to her brother as Dumbledore spoke, their eyes catching for a moment before she turns her gaze back to the headmaster. It wasn't often that someone looked at Dumbledore with an untrusting gaze, so that look being on her face was probably surprising for Remus. But she had mixed feelings about a lot of things when it came to Dumbledore.
She understood Remus' feelings for the man, but she was honestly an outsider. Honestly, the only thing she could probably thank Dumbledore for at the moment was knowing how things were transpiring and not dumping them all to the curb.
To be honest, it almost felt like... everything was apart of some plan he was cooking up. Including her falling in love with Severus.
She sucked her bottom lip into her mouth chewing on it, an unreadable look on her face. She looked to Severus, who was stone-faced. See, even he held a guarded expression against the headmaster.
That unsettling, on-edge feeling had returned again and her hand had clenched in the sheets of Severus bed. Though her lips twitched slightly at the term 'boyfriend' being used for Sev. It just... didn't seem like the right term. It seemed too light of a word for them, but they certainly weren't lovers - not in the physical way, anyway - nor were they husband and wife, so... it's not like there was another word anyway.
Once Dumbledore left the Hospital Wing she released a breath, looking to Sev. "Well, I feel like I've thoroughly had the back of my hands slapped and scolded for being errant."
She sniffed, removing her legs from Sev and standing, smoothing out her skit and then looked to the watch on her wrist. "Ah, it nearly dinner. We should probably go, Tonks..."
What the hell did he mean that the future depends on what we do today?
That unsettling thought on her mind, she turns her gaze to Sev, feeling... a little lost. She knew... she knew he was a private man, and would rather not have strong emotions laid out publically, but Dumbledore had unseated her. She reached out, touching a hand to Sev's cheek, pulling his gaze to her and she gave him a warm, loving smile.
Remus gaze was probably back on her and she didn't care. The appearance of Dumbledore was sort of a palette cleanser to the air. Severus eyes on her, she spoke, voice holding confidence, tenacity.
"I love you, Severus Snape." And she pressed her lips against his firmly, yet briefly, knowing he probably wouldn't respond.
She began to pull back.

i will break the spell you put on me | everywhere i go, i am spellbound; you cannot have this control on me | 216 words commentary | Remus decided he would talk to Rose about it later. However just after Dumbledore had left she had said she and Tonks were going to get dinner, or they should at least. Remus’s heart dropped a bit because he wanted to see more of Tonks, but then he scolded himself for that. Okay, maybe it was so he didn’t have to see those two being so touchy fee –
He was going to die. Remus literally started scrambling for his wand which was on the nightstand next to his bed. He wasn’t even paying attention to the fact that Severus’s eyes slightly widened, out of obvious surprise or the fact Severus took a second to respond, but barely even returned the kiss.
Suddenly Severus was out of the bed, on the ground next to it, having been hit with a knockback jinx, holding his head slightly as it had hit against the floor. There was a very irate Madam Pomfrey who came bustling out of her office.
“Don’t touch her, Snape.”
“I’m going to have to separate you two boys, aren’t I?” Madam Pomfrey said loudly confiscating Remus’s wand from him. However, Remus was satisfied, he got the jinx off and the kiss ended. No longer did he have to see his sister and – and him snogging.

A spell whizzed past her and Severus was thrown to the floor next to his bed. Rose's heart thundered in her chest, blood boiling. She waved off Poppy to help Severus back into the bed. Once he was settled again and she cast a healing spell to his head to take away any pain there, she turned blazing eyes on Remus.
"Can you be even more childish, Remus?"
Her voice was cold, eyes dark and upset. Her grip was tight on her wand and she chewed her tongue. Every part of her wanted to rain down ever spell, jinx, hex and curse she knew on her brother. But she knew, given today hijinks, that that wouldn't go well at all.
Knowing, knowing she hadn't a leg to stand on in this argument, there was nothing she could do to make them co-exist. The only thing she could do was set a look of pain on her brother. She hated making him feel guilty, but all she could feel was pain. Pain of not being trusted, pain of having the man she loved attacked at every turn because he was a fucking prat.
Tears began to fall, and she immediately turn away from Severus, not wanting him to see them, directing them all at Remus.
She spoke again, her voice tense. "I will see you on Saturday, Professor Snape. Please heal up."
With that, she left the room in very much the same way she came in, a storm of rage.
